Role Description

NetPlanner Systems is seeking an entry-level Social Media and Marketing Assistant to support our marketing team throughout the summer (up to 20 hours per week). This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in social media strategy, content creation, and overall marketing operations within a dynamic business environment.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Content Creation

โ€ข Assist in developing and executing a social media content plan.

โ€ข Create engaging posts (graphics, captions, short-form video ideas) across platforms such as LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.

โ€ข Monitor engagement, track performance, and recommend improvements.

โ€ข Research trends and help identify new opportunities to grow our online presence.

Marketing Support

โ€ข Assist with website updates, content management, and basic SEO improvements.

โ€ข Support trade show and event coordination (pre-event promotions, logistics, and follow-up).

โ€ข Help maintain and organize promotional item inventory.

โ€ข Assist with marketing campaigns, email communications, and internal initiatives.

Additional Projects

โ€ข Conduct market and competitor research.

โ€ข Assist with brand consistency across materials.

โ€ข Support development of marketing collateral (flyers, presentations, digital assets).

โ€ข Help gather and organize customer testimonials or case studies.

โ€ข Perform general administrative support for the marketing team as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

โ€ข Recently completed a bachelorโ€™s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
