Our U.S. team isseeking a Demand Planner atour Roasting and Distribution Facility located in Camarillo, CA tooversees many of the daily operations of Supply Chain department,coordinating efforts with the home office and global management team, whilealways supporting our Guiding Principles.

KeyResponsibilities

The Demand Planner isresponsible for supporting and implementing demand plans and processes anddriving the S&OP process to support the successful growth and operation ofthe Roasting and Distribution facility in Camarillo. The position reports tothe Sr. Director, Americas Supply Chain & Customer Service.

  • Develop,maintain, and improve demand forecasts for Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf products,considering historical sales data, market trends, seasonality, and otherrelevant factors.
  • Workwith stakeholders to implement the S&OP process in US and align to theGlobal S&OP cadence.
  • Monitorinventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels, balancing the need for productavailability with cost control and waste reduction.
  • Workclosely with cross-functional teams such as sales, marketing, production,logistics and procurement to gather input and align demand forecasts with thecompany's overall business strategy.
  • Analyzesales and inventory data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and usethis information to refine demand forecasts.
  • Developstrategies to mitigate the impact of demand variability, such as promotionalevents, seasonal fluctuations, or unexpected disruptions.
  • Trackkey performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand planning and inventory managementand implementing corrective actions when necessary.
  • Identifyopportunities for process improvements within the supply chain to enhanceefficiency and reduce costs.
  • Communicatedemand forecasts and related information effectively to internal stakeholders.

Your Ingredients

  • Bachelor'sdegree in supply chain management, business, logistics, or a related field isrequired.
  • Aminimum of 2 years proven experience within demand planning, supply chainmanagement, or a related role, preferably within the food and beverageindustry.
  • Stronganalytical and quantitative skills to interpret data and make informeddecisions.
  • Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with variousteams and suppliers.
  • Strongproblem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to resolve supplychain challenges.
  • Attentionto detail is crucial in managing inventory levels accurately.
  • Abilityto adapt to changing market conditions and adjust demand forecasts accordingly.
  • Effectivetime management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and meetdeadlines.
  • Astrong understanding of coffee and tea products, as well as the specificdemands of the industry, can be a valuable asset.
  • Workingknowledge of MS Dynamics, Advanced Excel, SQL, Power BI.
  • Englishproficiency required.

This position will bebased in Camarillo, CA, with the need to travel to our Downtown Los Angelesoffice occasionally. In addition, Monday-Thursday are in-office days and Fridayis a remote work day.
