Overview
Position Summary
KaiHonua, LLC has an immediate opening for a Jr Program Management Analyst to join our rapidly growing team. The Junior Program Management Analyst provides entry-level support to the Program Manager and the Navy PMW 150 program teams responsible for delivering secure communications and navigation capabilities. This role assists in program planning, execution tracking, financial management, and documentation in support of DoD acquisition programs.
The analyst works under supervision of senior program managers and contributes to ensuring programs meet cost, schedule, and performance objectives in accordance with DoD acquisition policies.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties (Not listed in order of importance; other duties may be assigned) and must be able to perform the following with minimal guidance:
  • Assist in the coordination and execution of program management activities across PMW 150 projects
  • Support program schedules, risk management processes, and performance tracking
  • Support development and maintenance of program schedules, milestones, and deliverables
  • Track action items, risks, and issues, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution
  • Provide administrative and analytical support for program reviews and meetings
  • Support creation and maintenance of acquisition documentation
  • Assist in preparing materials for milestone reviews, technical reviews, and leadership briefings
  • Maintain organized program records in compliance with Navy standards and records management policies
  • Assist with tracking program budgets, expenditures, and obligations
  • Support financial reporting, including spreadsheets and dashboards
  • Help reconcile financial data and identify variances for review by senior staff
  • Collect, organize, and analyze program data to support decision-making
  • Develop status reports, metrics, and visualizations for leadership
  • Maintain trackers for contracts, deliverables, and performance metrics
  • Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders
  • Facilitate communication across functional groups (engineering, logistics, contracts, finance)
  • Support scheduling and execution of Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings
  • Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience/Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Management, Engineering, or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in program management, project coordination, or DoD support (Preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. May include lifting weight up to thirty (30) pounds as necessary.

Position requires a Secret security clearance. Must be a US citizen.
