JOB SUMMARY

Job Profile Summary

The Commercial Business Analyst role supports the crude commercial organization throughanalytical support, operational execution, and commercial evaluationwith a focus on quality control.The exact title (Analyst I-III) and role will be determined based on the individual candidate's skillset and applicable work experience, if any.Dependent on therole, theAnalyst willsupportday-to-day crude scheduling activities, develop and maintain analytical tools and reporting, support crude quality and value optimization, and/orhelp evaluate new commercial opportunities.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Maintain data analytic tools to support commercial activities, including building dashboards, automating recurring reports, and improving data accessibility and quality.

  • Evaluate new commercial opportunities and ad-hoc initiatives by gathering information, performing quantitative analyses, summarizing economics, and preparing materials for decision-making.

  • Support crude scheduling execution,tracking movements,andmonitoring constraints.

  • Support crude quality optimization efforts by analyzing crude assays/quality attributes, monitoring blend performance, and helping identify opportunities to improve netbacks and operational outcomes.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, finance, engineering, business administration, accounting.

  • 0-5years of relevant experience (entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply).

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability tocreativelyorganize data, identify trends, and communicate insights clearly.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft ExcelandPowerpoint; ability to learn and use additional analytical tools (e.g., Power BI) and new systems quickly.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • High attention to detail, strong follow-through, and a willingness to learn through hands-on work.
