Your Role:
  • Review professional charge documents for accuracy and compliance
  • Assign and enter diagnosis and procedure codes into billing systems
  • Matches consultations with encounter forms and dictations from affiliate medical offices where the Partners have practiced
  • Enters information pertaining to these procedures into the billing and patient systems. Balances at the end of the day.
  • Research and correct claims following carrier guidelines
  • Stay up to date on industry regulations and communicate updates
  • Collaborate with departments to ensure smooth billing operations
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards

What We're Looking For:
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; post-high school coursework in medical billing preferred
  • Certification: CPC (Certified Professional Coder) required
  • Experience: 1+ year of medical coding experience preferred
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of third-party billing, coding terminology, and medical systems
