What is the 70 30 rule in hiring?

The 70/30 rule in hiring suggests that recruiters should spend approximately 70% of their time sourcing and engaging candidates, and 30% on evaluating and interviewing them. For entry-level recruiting roles, this emphasizes the importance of active candidate outreach and relationship-building to fill positions effectively.

Can I become a recruiter with no experience?

Entry level recruiting positions often do not require prior experience, as employers typically look for strong communication skills, organizational ability, and a willingness to learn. Candidates can often start with relevant training, certifications, or internships to build necessary skills and gain industry knowledge.
