Entry Level Smart Home & AV Technician (Level 1)

OnPoint Tech Systems designs, installs, and supports advanced technology systems for luxury homes and commercial properties throughout South Florida.
We work with smart home automation, lighting control, audio/video, networking, security, access control, and electrical systems.
We are looking for a dependable Level 1 Technician / Installer who is interested in learning the trade and building a long-term career in the technology integration industry.
Previous industry experience is not required. What matters most is that you are reliable, comfortable working with your hands, capable of learning, and willing to help wherever the team needs you.
This is a hands-on position. You will work in our warehouse, on active construction sites, in finished homes, and alongside experienced technicians who will help develop your skills.
What You'll Do
  • Assist technicians with smart home, AV, networking, security, and electrical installations
  • Pull, route, secure, and label low-voltage wiring
  • Help install speakers, televisions, cameras, network equipment, lighting controls, and other devices
  • Use basic hand and power tools safely
  • Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment
  • Help organize equipment, inventory, and project materials in the warehouse
  • Keep company vehicles, jobsites, and work areas clean and organized
  • Complete project photos, labeling, and basic documentation
  • Follow instructions from lead technicians and project managers
  • Help with general construction and installation tasks as needed
  • Learn how integrated technology systems are installed, tested, and serviced
