Job description

Position Title: Senior Project Manager
Salary Range: $150,000-$180,000 / Year, DOE, plus project-based bonus potential
This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an experienced construction professional ready to step beyond individual project management and take ownership of field operations, project execution, and client relationships. The Senior Project Manager will oversee a team of Project Managers, lead complex commercial restoration projects, manage escalated client and stakeholder issues, negotiate change orders, and work closely with ownership to keep projects profitable and moving forward.
The ideal candidate is a confident, level-headed construction leader with deep commercial project management experience who can command a room, navigate difficult conversations, and independently represent ownership with clients, HOA boards, attorneys, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and oversight to the Project Management team while serving as a senior operational resource across active projects
  • Manage project execution from contract award through completion, ensuring schedules, manpower, subcontractors and field operations remain on track
  • Serve as a senior point of contact for clients, condominium associations, HOA boards, attorneys, consultants, engineers and ownership groups
  • Lead difficult client conversations, resolve escalations and negotiate and defend change orders while protecting company interests
  • Review project financial performance and collaborate with construction accounting to maintain accurate job costing, invoicing and financial controls
  • Coordinate subcontractors and field resources while troubleshooting project issues and ensuring work progresses according to plan
  • Represent ownership in key operational and client matters when needed, exercising sound judgment and independent decision-making

Requirements
  • 5+ years of senior-level construction project management experience
  • Strong commercial construction background with experience managing projects valued at $1M+
  • Demonstrated experience leading or overseeing Project Managers
  • Experience with commercial restoration, concrete restoration, structural restoration, waterproofing, building envelope restoration, high-rise restoration, or commercial painting
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, change orders, project financials and job costing
  • Exceptional client-facing communication, negotiation and conflict-resolution skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional during high-pressure meetings, disputes and project escalations
  • Ability to independently manage multiple priorities and represent company leadership in the field
