Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Job Description

This entry-level Electrical Engineer role supports the design and analysis of electrical distribution systems under close supervision. You will apply basic engineering principles, follow established standards and procedures, and contribute to the preparation of engineering deliverables such as drawings, reports, specifications, and studies. The position offers the opportunity to develop technical skills, gain exposure to project coordination, and support continuous improvement initiatives while working closely with project teams and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine aspects of electrical engineering assignments under close supervision, applying basic engineering principles to prescribed techniques and procedures.
  • Contribute to the preparation of less complex engineering deliverables, including drawings, reports, specifications, and studies of limited scope.
  • Conduct routine research and develop recommendations for equipment and materials selection for electrical distribution projects.
  • Collect, assimilate, and manage data required to support engineering work and project analyses.
  • Prepare basic engineering calculations using standard methods and principles commonly applied in similar engineering analyses.
  • Read, understand, and apply departmental design guides, standards, systems, and applicable engineering codes to assigned work.
  • Understand and adhere to project budget, schedule, and quality requirements while executing assigned tasks.
  • Support the application of the quality program and participate in continuous improvement and change management efforts.
  • Share project information with team members as requested to support coordination and alignment.
  • Coordinate with others when directed by supervisors or project leadership to ensure effective project execution.
  • Support internal clients, such as project team leadership, by focusing on their needs and gaining a basic understanding of external client interests and drivers.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $31.25/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
