Job description

Position Overview:Provide accurate and timely product design assistance to veteran designer's and staff. Update and create newly designed product as requested by senior staff. This is an entry level position that allows the employee to learn company centric systems and knowledge while also honing their engineering and modeling skills.Duties & Responsibilities:Product design consisting of detailing drawings, layout and design, bill of material generation.Attend customer specification reviews.Sales engineering drawings for customer approval.Provide plant support for engineering related opportunities.Position Requirements:Associate Degree in drafting and design with 1 years of relevant experience. BSME or equivalent technical degree preferred. Must have knowledge of sheet metal processes. Strongly prefer an individual be familiar with Solid Works, personal computers. Verbal and written communication ability are essential along with the capacity to interact with all levels of any organization. Must have good analytical and decision making skills and be able to work accurately in a fast-paced environment. Must have the ability to pass multiple solidworks certification examinations.Physical/Mental Requirements Needed to Perform the Essential Functions of this Position:Normal standing, bending, walking, lifting in an office environment. The ability to verbally communicate with individuals is essential. No Visa Sponsorship.
