Teknor Apex is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to help grow and support our business. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of accounts, build strong customer relationships, and drive revenue growth by identifying opportunities, developing pipeline, and delivering responsive day-to-day sales support.
This is a great opportunity for a recent college graduate or early career professional who is interested in developing a career in sales, account management, and business development. You'll gain hands-on experience working cross-functionally while learning how to turn customer needs into business opportunities.
What You'll Do
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of assigned accounts to achieve sales and margin goals
  • Develop and convert inbound and outbound leads into qualified opportunities
  • Maintain regular customer contact through calls, emails, and digital outreach
  • Build strong customer relationships by understanding needs and recommending the right products and solutions
  • Support retention and account growth through proactive follow-up, upselling, and cross-selling
  • Prepare quotations and provide accurate pricing, product, and availability information
  • Maintain up-to-date CRM records, pipeline activity, and account details
  • Partner with Customer Service, Field Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Operations to ensure a seamless customer experience

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field preferred
  • 2-5 years of inside sales, account management, or commercial experience
  • Experience in plastics compounding, resins, or specialty chemicals preferred
  • Proven ability to manage pipeline, qualify opportunities, and achieve sales goals
  • Experience with CRM systems, ERP platforms, and Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills
  • A proactive, customer-first approach and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
