The Radiologic Technologist works under the direction of a radiologist utilizing radiographic, fluoroscopic and other high-tech imaging equipment. These Technologists are graduates of 2 or 4 year programs. Radiologic Technologists must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and licensed by the State of New York. Population served based on scope of services in the department.
Essential Job Qualifications:
  • Education: Graduate from an A.M.A approved school of Radiologic Technology
  • Experience: Entry level to experienced
  • License: NYS License / A.R.R.T. (R)- Preferred

Manual: significant manual skills/motor coord & finger dexterity
