Assistant Medical Director (Overnight) Emergency Telepsychiatry Program

Northwell Health – Manhattan, New York

Northwell Health Behavioral Health Service Line seeks full‑time Board Certified/Board Eligible Psychiatrists to serve as the overnight physician leader at our Telepsychiatry Hub in Manhattan, New York.

Unique Opportunity
  • Lead an overnight multidisciplinary team of physicians, social workers, and logisticians at a state‑of‑the‑art academic 24/7 Telehealth Hub.
  • “Virtual” Emergency Psychiatry Service consulting to Emergency Departments.
  • Optimized office environment located in Manhattan.
  • This position comes with 20% administrative/academic time.
  • Clinical shifts are 8:30 p‑8:30 a, average 10 shifts per month (Monday‑Thursday).
  • Base compensation $330,000+
Requirements
  • Position is 80% clinical (12‑hr overnight shifts), in person in Manhattan.
  • 2 years CPEP/Emergency Psychiatry experience required.
  • Must be BC/BE and licensed in NYS.
  • Superior computer and EHR skills.
  • Must be able to assess patients of all ages.
