Ready to work hands-on in a dynamic and growing energy infrastructure environment? BlueFin Energy is looking for motivated entry-level welders to join our team and grow with us! As a Welder I, you will gain essential skills in steel fabrication, repair, and installation under the guidance of experienced professionals. This is your chance to develop technical expertise, learn critical safety protocols, and contribute to exciting projects in the pipeline and energy sectors. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist in setting up and performing basic welding operations under supervision.
  • Learn to read and interpret simple blueprints and isometric drawings.
  • Perform basic welding operations (e.g., tack welding, basic SMAW/GMAW) under supervision
  • Set up and maintain clean welding stations and equipment
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized workstations.
  • Follow strict safety protocols, participate in team safety meetings.
  • Keep accurate work logs and assist with project documentation.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Vocational/technical welding training preferred (enrolled or completed).
  • No prior industry experience necessary; internships or hands-on practice are a plus.
Physical Requirements
  • Minimal travel may be required
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work in variable environmental conditions
