GoodLife Innovations is seeking Direct Support Professionals to promote independent living for adults with disabilities at our Wichita Neighborhood Network.
As a Direct Support Professional, you will help the people we serve by teaching and rewarding daily living skills. Your day will be spent in Neighborhood Network residences, our Day Service Clubhouse, and out in the community to assist with client goals and building independence. You will build lasting relationships through community outings, functional activities, and daily companionship!
Schedules available:
  • Wed/Thu/Sat 7am-8pm
  • Sun/Mon/Tue/Wed 8am-8pm
  • Thu/Fri/Sat 8am-8pm

Some duties include:
  • Teaching and supporting daily living skills (social skills, cooking, cleaning, money management)
  • Transporting clients to community activities, appointments, and community jobs in company vehicle
  • Facilitating safe and fun community outings (bowling, volunteering, museums, library)
  • Assisting persons served to actively engage and appropriately participate in group activities
  • Supporting clients in developing and maintaining relationships with friends, family, and community members
  • Providing monitoring and remote support via various tech-based monitoring systems
  • Documenting accurate records of services provided and progress made
Entry-Level Qualifications:
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Must pass criminal background check
  • Must have a valid driver's license and safe driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs to physically assist individuals
  • Flexibility in assigned working location based on client needs
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous caregiving or direct support experience, ideally in a residential or therapeutic setting
