The Alternate Sales Department creates, promotes, and steers the performance of several sales channels, which support the overall sales target. In addition, this Department creates all of the programs and oversees the payments to our dealer partners.  


Mercedes-Benz USA Fleet & Alternate Sales Junior Associate Consultant Overview
 

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Strategic Projects JAC to support key initiatives within our Fleet & Alternate Sales team. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and digital transformation within the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills, a knack for creating compelling presentations, and a proactive mindset. Prior experience in automotive or sales operations is a plus.

 
 
 
Responsibilities
  • Support the planning, execution, and tracking of cross-functional projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
  • Work closely with internal teams (e.g., Sales, IT, Marketing) and external strategic partners to gather requirements, align goals, and facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Assist in the development of a car shopping experience platform tailored for affluent clients of our strategic business partners.
  • Collaborate with the RPA BOT team to design and implement a BOT that automates the ordering process for Corporate Sales, Rental, and GSA channels.
  • The projects listed above are representative examples. Additional assignments will be provided based on evolving business priorities.
    Create clear, visually engaging PowerPoint presentations and status reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive and solution-focused mindset.
  • Experience in automotive, sales operations, or digital platforms is a plus.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion, integrity, and in compliance with organizational policies and legal standards.

Preferred Skillset:

  • Earned or currently working toward a Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, or Microsoft Project) is a plus.

  • Exposure to automation technologies or RPA concepts is a bonus.

  • Available from May 2026 to May 2027

  • Hybrid in-person schedule, up to 28 hours maximum per week
