Location: Fuquay Varina, NC
Duration: 1+ Year
Duties:
Manage test plans including virtual simulation, lab testing, performance evaluation, and field testing.
Support root cause investigations and data acquisition to understand failures and enable quick resolution.
Interpret test results and calculate reliability of prototypes, provide information for leadership decisions, and forecast warranty/failure rates.
Provide technical support to marketing, product engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply management across the product lifecycle.
Benchmark competitive products to inform design direction and identify performance opportunities.
Communicate technical and non-technical information clearly and concisely with peers and leadership in written and verbal forms.
Remain highly organized while managing multiple tasks and data streams.
Work effectively with diverse technical teams of design engineers, lab engineers, technicians, mechanics, field sites, and structural analysts..
What skills you need:
Basic engineering design experience using CAD (Creo/ProE preferred)
Basic statistics and data analysis experience
Hands-on skills and aptitude with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and/or software systems
Familiarity with phases of product development (scoping, design, analysis, testing, customer feedback, and manufacturing)
Leadership, communication, and people skills
Ability to analyze complex data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations
