Job description

Entry Level and Experienced Technician are encouraged to apply.

Pay is commensurate with experience.

General Description of Function:

This technician performs tasks in the computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing process to manufacture dental products.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

  • Read and review all paperwork on each case for correct information including prescriptions and specifications received from dentist
  • Enter patient information into Dental Manager to create 3D virtual model and digital file ensuring accuracy of data
  • Enter digital IOS (Intra Oral Scan) patient information to create digital files
  • Scan model work into 3Shape System following standard operating procedures
  • Verify the scan is correct and materials have been entered in correctly
  • Accurately mark the margins for digital scans
  • Design digital models
  • Nest/Mill/Print zirconia and printable resin materials
  • Ensure all steps are followed to insure consistent, accurate results
  • Post-process 3D printed materials
  • Post-milling sinter zirconia
  • Review final work and check completely that all quality standards have been met before passing the case to the next technician
  • Perform/Document routine scheduled Preventative Maintenance of equipment
  • Participate in Company sponsored training and meetings as required
  • Support and incorporate Apex Mission, Vision and Core Values
  • Clean work area daily
  • Perform other duties as required and assigned

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

ยท Must wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when performing work tasks that require and follow safety guidelines as stated in Apex Safety & Health Plan Manual.
