Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Respond to user requests for support
  • Maintain and routinely service all hardware and software
  • Hardware, software, network and OS installations and repair.
  • Troubleshoot software, hardware and network problems.
  • Inventory computer and network hardware/software.
  • Monitor antivirus software and updates and repair computers infected with spyware, adware and/or viruses.
  • Perform routine audits of all systems and all departments to investigate and repair any potential problems.
  • Maintenance of phone systems (analog)
  • Provide training to users as they come aboard and/or new applications as they are inducted.
  • Maintain open communication and positive working relationship with staff.
  • Support Park Applications, Operating Systems, MS Office and other programs.
  • Perform other duties/projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Experience in the field of information systems.
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office, basic networking and POS concepts
  • A basic understanding of computer network cabling and network file and print services
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and efficiently manage time.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills in English
  • Ability to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints.
  • Ability to develop, maintain, and promote strong internal and external relationships
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Must be able to bend, lift, carry and perform other duties involved in installing and checking hardware.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to lift, carry, move, and/or position items weighing up to or in excess of 25 pounds.
