Job description

HR MANAGER
Seat at the leadership Table! OWN your function! This HR Manager is solely responsible for the department function of full cycle Human Resources including company-wide recruiting, complete hiring, employee relations, benefits, and all compliance with both company and regulatory requirements. Will participate in weekly Executive meetings. Seeking a hands-on energetic HR Manager who is passionate, driven and has the attention to detail to ensure the business is positioned to hire for multi-state locations, continue working with employees administering payroll and benefits while adding value and achieving the business goals. The chosen candidate will be reporting to the Executive Leaders of the company as the go-to person for all employee matters and concerns. Will be responsible for the sourcing, hiring, benefits and be wearing many hats, helping wherever needed.
  • 401K plan, with a 25% employer match on contributions up to the IRS deferral limits - That's a lot!
  • Main headquarters location is in the far northern suburbs of Chicago, IL
  • This is an in office-based position daily.
Responsibilities
  • Recruiting for about 30-40 office and field related positions on a regular basis for various locations. Sourcing candidates from job boards, referrals, and any methods appropriate for making new hires using the Paylocity platform
  • Ensuring full compliance to the laws while hiring in the various states
  • Complete employment screening reports and administer drug testing.
  • Maintain employee records and update employee files as needed for full compliance of both state, federal and company requirements
  • Support employees daily with any questions on benefit coverage and ensure new hires are provided documentation needed to sign up for all benefits
  • Educate employees on company benefits , open enrollment options and company rewards
  • Assist management with corrective action, conflict resolution, and any EEOC claims which may arise
  • Other administrative related duties as required of the HR Manager
