Position at Glidewell Dental
Essential Functions (Technical Advisor) - 80%:
  • Digital Treatment Planning
    • Plans entry level complexity cases (tooth borne, minimal x-ray scatter, no anatomy concerns, , primarily single-tooth and up-to 3 units in one quarter.
    • Verifies prescription product and information, e.g. implant, system, size, Surgical Kit etc.
    • Evaluates cases thoroughly; advises doctors on which product is most beneficial to their needs.
    • Utilizes CBCT/CT data, IOS data, digital treatment planning software (RealGUIDE).
    • Evaluates alignment of scans for planning feasibility before implant placement.
    • Delivers PDF report of surgical plan to doctor for review and advises on procedures with guidance from team members.
  • Customer Service
    • Resolves inquiries pertaining to guided surgery.
    • Provides digital treatment planning information.
    • Ensures customer retention and satisfaction.
    • Provides online consultation for treatment planning as needed.
  • Case/Pan management
    • Triages cases into the production flow in a prompt manner.
    • Creates folders in the shared drive.
    • Maintains notes in GCX (Glidewell Customer Experience).
    • Tracks all cases to ensure schedule is adhered to.
  • Administrative
    • Maintains security and integrity of digital Rx, MyAccount portal, share drive, and digital treatment planning (DTP) customer folders following the DTP standard operating procedures (SOP).
    • Liaison between the Customer Service department, customers, and internal departments and divisions
    • Generates and maintain reports as needed.

Essential Duties (Production) - 20%:
  • Processes digital orders once electronic files are received; processes digital orders from IOS, My Account, or other programs from customers.
  • Reviews and converts modeless scans from intraoral scanners (IOS).
  • Repairs CAD files that cannot be imported due to improper scans or generate errors upon importing.
  • Scans impression and/or models as needed.
  • Cleans and post-print-processes of surgical guides as needed.
  • Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management.

Education and Experience:
  • Minimum two (2) years of customer service experience.
  • Minimum three (3) years of dental experience.
  • RDA, DA, or CDT preferred.
  • Implant experience, required.
  • Dental CAD/CAM experience, preferred
  • RealGUIDE, CoDiagnostics and/or 3 Shape Implant Studio (or equivalent) experience, preferred.

Pay Range: $24.25-$24.93/hr
