Job Summary:
DCCA is a veteran-owned IT business specializing in providing innovative solutions to various government agencies and commercial enterprises. They are seeking a Software Engineer to provide support in software architecture and design, develop applications, and collaborate in a cross-discipline environment.
Responsibilities:
• Provide direct support and subject matter expertise to software architecture and design, defining specific features and stories in an Agile planning environment.
• Perform software development and configuration for operational or support applications, taking part in daily scrum status and coordination activities.
• Perform unit-level software testing for all assigned features and support integration testing as applicable to those features.
• Interface with and help build full stack applications or embedded software using C++, python and docker, kubernetes
• Work with the following software development lifecycle concepts: Agile, DevSecOps, Continuous Integration (CI), and Continuous Deployment (CD) making use of test automation, and other tools.
• Work collaboratively in a cross-discipline environment with both internal and external customers to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
• Develop/maintain training materials.
• Support risk and opportunity assessment
• Develop algorithms to process and exploit data collected in realtime
• Develop high-reliability software systems and tooling targeting RF mission systems.
• Provide tasking and technical direction to junior engineers and review work products at multiple levels.
• Provide system administration support for development environments or dedicated stand-alone systems identified in the program architecture.
