Salary:

Anticipated Pay Range: $100K-120K per year. *Pay rates within this range are determined based on various factors including experience, education, certifications, etc.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve material forecasting models using historical consumption, production schedules, customer demand, inventory levels, and market trends.
  • Utilize advanced analytical tools and statistical techniques to predict material requirements and optimize inventory strategies, including safety stock, reorder points, and min/max parameters.
  • Design, build, and maintain automated reporting, dashboards, and planning tools that enhance visibility into material demand, inventory health, supplier performance, and forecast accuracy.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities for supply chain optimization.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven solutions that improve material availability, inventory turns, service levels, and production continuity.
  • Monitor inventory consumption patterns and proactively recommend inventory adjustments to support changing production requirements.
  • Generate and manage material requisitions, track supplier commitments, and ensure timely delivery of critical production materials.
  • Collaborate with Procurement and Operations teams to mitigate material shortages, excess inventory, and supply chain disruptions.
  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics to measure forecasting effectiveness, inventory performance, supplier reliability, and planning efficiency.
  • Ensure item master, routing, and Bill of Material (BOM) accuracy within the ERP system to support reliable planning and procurement activities.
  • Lead root cause analysis efforts related to inventory discrepancies, planning variances, forecast errors, and material shortages.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through process automation, workflow optimization, and implementation of digital supply chain solutions.

  • Create and maintain business intelligence solutions utilizing reporting and visualization platforms to support operational and strategic decision-making.

  • Work closely with IT and business stakeholders to identify opportunities for systems enhancements and process digitization.

  • Maintain strong communication with suppliers and logistics providers to ensure alignment on schedules, delivery commitments, and supply risks.

  • Occasionally travel to supplier locations to support supplier development and strengthen strategic partnerships.

  • Comply with all Plant policies and procedures, including EHS, Quality, Human Resources, and Code of Conduct requirements.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.

  • Demonstrated experience developing forecasting models, inventory optimization strategies, and supply chain analytics.

  • Experience building automated tools, dashboards, and reporting solutions using technologies such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, VBA, Power Query, or similar platforms.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Power Pivot, Power Query, complex formulas, and data modeling.

  • Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and supply chain planning methodologies.

  • Strong understanding of inventory management, demand planning, forecasting, and procurement processes.

  • Ability to independently manage projects while collaborating effectively across all organizational levels.

  • Comfortable working in both office and manufacturing environments and frequently engaging with shop floor operations.

  • Bachelor's degree and 3 years of Supply Chain, Logistics, Data Analytics, or Procurement Experience.
  • Proven track record of building automated tools or dashboards in a manufacturing environment.
