Position Overview

The IT Support Technician will help support day-to-day technology needs across the organization, with a focus on hardware, end-user support, and Microsoft-based systems.

This position is designed for someone who does not need to know everything on day one. The right candidate will have some foundational technical experience, strong problem-solving instincts, and the ability to learn quickly.

You will work alongside experienced IT professionals who can help train and develop you as your responsibilities grow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day technical support for users

  • Assist with laptops, desktops, monitors, peripherals, and other hardware

  • Help configure, prepare, and deploy equipment for employees

  • Troubleshoot common hardware and software issues

  • Support users within a Microsoft-based technology environment

  • Assist with equipment setup, replacements, upgrades, and general IT support needs

  • Escalate more complex issues to senior members of the IT team

  • Document work and follow established support processes

  • Continue developing technical knowledge and responsibilities over time

Required Qualifications
  • Some previous exposure to IT support, desktop support, help desk, hardware support, or a similar environment

  • Basic familiarity with Microsoft technologies and Windows-based computers

  • Comfortable troubleshooting common computer and hardware issues
