About the Role
AVIAN is seeking a Program/Project/Management Analyst, Junior to provide program management and analytical support for Department of Defense acquisition programs. The selected candidate will assist with data analysis, reporting, and program tracking activities to support execution across the program lifecycle while ensuring alignment with Department of Defense and Department of the Navy policies and procedures.
The Program/Project/Management Analyst will work closely with Government leadership and program personnel to support planning, execution, and reporting activities across all phases of the acquisition lifecycle. This position is ideal for a motivated, detail-oriented professional who can work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced acquisition environment.
Responsibilities

  • Provide entry-level program management and analytical support for DoD acquisition programs
  • Apply analytic techniques to evaluate program and project objectives
  • Assist in analyzing program requirements, status, budgets, and schedules
  • Collect, organize, and interpret data related to aircraft, weapons, and acquisition programs
  • Support development and maintenance of program tracking tools and reports
  • Track program/project status, milestones, and action items
  • Assist in preparation of program briefs, reports, and documentation
  • Support management, technical, and business case analyses
  • Assist with lifecycle management activities across acquisition phases
  • Coordinate with Government leadership and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
  • Maintain program documentation and data repositories
  • Support compliance with DoD and Department of the Navy acquisition policies

Qualifications
Required Education
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from an accredited college or university
Required Experience
  • Less than three (3) years of combined experience performing program management, acquisition, or analytical support duties
Desired Experience
  • At least one (1) year supporting NAVAIR program management, technical, or business analysis disciplines
  • Experience supporting DoD acquisition programs
  • Experience supporting aircraft or weapons system programs
  • Familiarity with Integrated Product Team (IPT) environments
  • Experience supporting schedules, budgets, or program tracking
Required Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to organize and interpret program data
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

    • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.
    • Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
    • Salary range: $77,000 - $80,000 (The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.)
