This is an onsite position.  (Not remote)

Sunstar Paramedics is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Medical- Pre-Billing Specialist to support our Patient Billing Services (PBS) team. This is an entry-level administrative position focused on reviewing documentation, data entry, and ensuring patient care reports are complete and ready for billing processing.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys computer-based work, organization, and accuracy in a structured office environment. Previous medical experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities:
• Review electronic patient care reports (PCRs) for completeness and accuracy
• Verify billing-related information including mileage, signatures, demographic information, and required documentation
• Enter and review data within web-based systems
• Identify missing information and follow established processes to resolve documentation issues
• Maintain productivity and accuracy standards established by the department
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and company confidentiality standards
• Communicate professionally with internal departments regarding documentation needs
• Participate in departmental meetings and training as needed
• Perform other administrative support duties as assigned
