Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Medical Biller to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience with medical billing and insurance claims, with NextGen EMR/Practice Management experience preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Submit and follow up on insurance claims
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits
  • Post insurance and patient payments accurately
  • Work denied and rejected claims to ensure timely reimbursement
  • Communicate with insurance companies regarding claim status
  • Maintain accurate patient billing records
  • Assist patients with billing questions and payment inquiries

Qualifications:

  • Previous medical billing experience required
  • Experience with NextGen software preferred
  • Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding is a plus
