We’re a third-party billing company seeking an exceptional Medical Billing Specialist to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

Submit and manage professional and institutional claims to 3rd party payers (e.g., Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Florida Blue)

Track and document all interactions with insurance companies

Efficiently resolve claim denials using available resources and tools

Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve billing issues

Review and work accounts through the full revenue cycle

Make outbound calls and access payer portals to check claim statuses

Navigate Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and billing software systems

Apply general coding knowledge, including CPT codes

Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA compliance standards

Qualifications:

Required: 1+ year of experience in medical billing

Preferred: 1+ year of experience in medical collections

Strong understanding of insurance billing processes and denials

Familiarity with Office 365 (especially Excel)

Organizational skills and attention to detail

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Team player with excellent communication skills
