Jr. Designer, AAE: We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Jr. Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a foundational understanding of design principles and a passion for creative problem-solving across diverse platforms. You'll work closely with creative leadership and cross-functional teams to bring innovative concepts to life and contribute to impactful campaigns.
What you'll do:
Craft & Design Execution
  • Produce high-quality designs for a wide range of formats and platforms, including social, video, digital/web, and experiential activations.
  • Generate creative concepts both independently and as a collaborative team member.
  • Compile compelling mood boards for design direction and present them effectively to creative leadership.
  • Develop drafts of designs that follow established guidelines and creative direction.
  • Demonstrate strong initiative as a self-starter, actively seeking solutions to design challenges.

Collaboration & Project Management
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional, fast-paced teams, adding to a positive working environment.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with peers across various disciplines and practices, including account management, planning, production, media, and other creative specialists.
  • Actively ask for and incorporate feedback, making necessary revisions to evolve your work and accommodate internal stakeholders and client input.
  • Contribute to multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating strong organizational skills to meet deadlines and manage team expectations.
  • Work closely with producers and project managers to ensure timely delivery of projects.
Experience that contributes to success:
  • Entry-level to 2 years of experience in a design role, internship, or relevant academic projects demonstrating design capability.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing foundational design skills and creativity.
  • Design Fundamentals: Proficiency in Motion/Video and Graphic Design. Relevant software (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud, Illustrator, AfterEffects, etc.) and a solid understanding of design principles, typography, and visual hierarchy.
  • Socially Savvy: You live and breathe social media and keep up with trends.
  • Problem Solver: A natural curiosity and ability to approach design challenges with a solution-oriented mindset.
