Make a difference in the lives of children! Achievement Center for Therapy is seeking a qualified Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) for a position. This is a part to full-time position in a private practice setting, working beside SLP’s and OT’s and other professionals alike.

Job Description: An RBT is a Registered Behavior Technician who will assist in delivering behavior analysis services and practice under the direction and close supervision of a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA). They will be instrumental in carrying out the care plan created by the BCBA

Minimum Requirements:

  • A passion for working in pediatrics
  • Be at least 18 years or older
  • High School Diploma or some years of college experience would be beneficial
  • Successfully complete an RBT initial competency assessment
  • Must be licensed by the state of Nevada
  • Background Check will be completed
  • Requires good assessment and interpersonal skills
  • Requires good verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to provide proof of current TB Test (within 60 days)
  • CPR/ First Aid certification- hybrid or in person class

Essential Functions:

  • Provides direct ABA therapy for clients in at home, school, therapy sessions, or in other environments as needed
  • Implements behavior intervention strategies and program changes as directed by the Behavior Analyst and/or as decided upon by the treatment team
  • Direct implementation of behavior analytic and behavior reduction programs
  • Assist in performing preference assessments and other ongoing assessments for client
  • Observe and record child’s behaviors and acquisition data
  • Communicate with supervisory staff
  • Participate in all meetings
  • Videotape home therapy sessions for evaluations
  • Maintain documentation demonstrating service provided
  • Communicates effectively with supervisors regarding any issues, including service delivery, task assignment, behavioral incidents, and other issues that affect consumer’s behavior status
  • Participates in introductory and ongoing training programs that provide instruction in ABA and other methodologies applicable to client population
