Carpenters – Entry-Level & Skilled (Pole Barn Division)

We are seeking both Entry-Level and Skilled Carpenters in Cedar Rapids, IA. If you’re looking for steady work, the opportunity to learn a trade, or to advance your carpentry career, we want to hear from you.

Position Overview

Carpenters in our pole barn division work on the construction of post-frame buildings, agricultural structures, and commercial projects. This is hands-on, outdoor work that requires teamwork, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the construction of pole barns and post-frame buildings
  • Perform framing, measuring, cutting, and assembling materials
  • Set posts, trusses, and install metal or wood siding/roofing
  • Operate hand tools and power tools safely
  • Read plans and layouts (skilled carpenters)
  • Maintain job site safety and cleanliness
  • Work as part of a crew to complete projects efficiently

Requirements

Entry-Level Candidates

  • No carpentry experience required – willing to train

Skilled Carpenters
