These roles often include learning how to use hand and power tools safely, reading blueprints, and following instructions on construction sites or in workshops. Entry level carpenters gain valuable hands-on experience and foundational skills, which can lead to more advanced positions as they develop their expertise. Most entry level jobs require a high school diploma or equivalent, but formal training or apprenticeships can enhance job prospects.
