The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for analyzing business programs, mapping data flows, and identifying opportunities for system optimization and integration. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ERP systems, data architecture, and business process analysis.

Function in the Job
Sedentary Work- Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
Job Function
  • Analyze existing ERP programs and modules to understand functionality, dependencies, and business impact.
  • Map and document data flows across ERP systems and integrated applications.
  • Collaborate with team members to gather and validate business requirements.
  • Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation or improvement.
  • Develop functional specifications and work closely with developers and technical teams.
  • Provide Level 1 ServiceNow incident/ticket monitoring.
  • Support data migration, transformation, and integration efforts.
  • Assist in testing, validation, and deployment of ERP enhancements.
  • Provide training and documentation for end-users and support teams.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to data flow and program logic.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, audit requirements, and safety protocols.
  • All other duties and responsibilities assigned by management

Required Skills
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or equivalent role, required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field required.
  • Strong understanding of data flow diagrams, process mapping, and system architecture required.
  • Experience with SQL, data analysis tools (Power BI & Snowflake), and ERP reporting modules required.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities required. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues required.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills required.
  • Ability to build and publish reports required.
  • Experience with ERP implementation or upgrade projects preferred.
  • Familiarity with APIs, ETL tools, and integration platforms preferred.
  • Knowledge of business functions such as finance, supply chain, or manufacturing preferred.
  • Knowledge of IBM I (AS400) preferred.
