Job Title: Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Engineer
Location: Austin, TX - Hybrid - Onsite and Telework
Duration: 12 Months (Extendable)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Engineer to support enterprise-level artificial intelligence initiatives. The ideal candidate will provide specialized expertise in AI solution development, enterprise search implementation, AI agent deployment, AI inventory management, and AI governance processes.
This role will support critical AI transformation initiatives, including improving information retrieval capabilities, implementing AI monitoring solutions, developing AI-powered automation agents, and establishing governance standards aligned with cybersecurity, privacy, and technology compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
  • Build and deploy components of enterprise search solutions to improve information discovery and retrieval.
  • Assist with configuration, implementation, rollout, and documentation of AI inventory management systems.
  • Support the development, testing, and deployment of AI agents aligned with business unit requirements.
  • Develop technical controls, documentation, and processes supporting AI governance adoption.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to implement AI-driven solutions.
  • Support AI model integration, testing, monitoring, and operationalization activities.
  • Assist in establishing AI governance frameworks, standards, and compliance processes.
  • Document AI workflows, technical processes, system configurations, and implementation procedures.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into AI/ML technical solutions.
  • Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement of AI systems and applications.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 1+ year of experience building and deploying components of enterprise search tools.
  • 1+ year of experience configuring, implementing, and documenting AI inventory systems.
  • 1+ year of experience supporting implementation and testing of AI agents.
  • 1+ year of experience developing technical controls, documentation, and processes for AI governance adoption.
  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning concepts, tools, and implementation practices.
  • Experience supporting enterprise AI initiatives and technology transformation projects.
  • Knowledge of AI governance, cybersecurity, privacy, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with AI solution documentation and technical process development.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-driven solutions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting government or public sector AI initiatives.
