Job description

The Sustainability Intern provides entry-level data-entry and administrative support for customer and third-party sustainability surveys. The intern will primarily assist with entering approved information into customer sustainability questionnaires, EcoVadis assessments, Sedex surveys, spreadsheets, and online portals. The intern will also help identify incomplete survey fields, track due dates, and follow up on missing information as directed.

This is a learning and support position. The Sustainability Intern does not manage sustainability programs or documentation and does not independently approve or submit survey responses.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with data entry for customer sustainability surveys.
  • Enter approved responses into EcoVadis and Sedex.
  • Transfer approved information into questionnaires, spreadsheets, and online portals.
  • Review entries for accuracy, spelling, formatting, and completeness.
  • Identify blank or incomplete survey fields.
  • Update survey trackers, due dates, and open-item lists.
  • Assist with gathering information needed to complete surveys.
  • Request missing information from internal departments as directed.
  • Follow up on assigned open items.
  • Prepare draft survey responses for management review.
  • Assist with basic spreadsheets, tables, and status reports.
