Job description

A Leasing Consultant has duties and responsibilities they must fulfill throughout the regular course of their job: showing, selling and leasing homes, working with prospective residents and carrying out activities related to managing the waitlist.
Job Type: Full-time; Temp to hire
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm (1 hr. lunch)
Pay: $18.00/hour
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Review and process residents’ applications; data entry, lease agreements
• Handle call inquiries, internet leads, walk-in traffic, and lead follow through
• Maintain and increase occupancy by selling and leasing homes.
• May be responsible for ensuring “Rent Ready” properties are presentable
• Educates and informs prospects of relevant resident rules, policies, and procedures
• Coordinate and compile property management reports
• Prepare presentations for property management
• Coordinate tasks across multiple departments and levels throughout the organization
• Perform administrative functions required to lease property (general correspondence, waitlist maintenance, and resident files)
• Perform showing
Minimum Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent. Vocational or college education preferred.
• 2-5 years’ experience in Business Administration
• Excellent Communication Skills (Both Written and Oral)
• Proficient in using a computer (Microsoft Office- Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Accuracy and being detail-oriented is a must.
• Type at least 45 wpm
• Yardi Software experience preferred but not required.
• Must have a valid driver's license

*Will need military base access therefore must pass military base required background checks. Must meet driving requirements and have a valid driver's license. Must have personal reliable vehicle to use on a daily basis.
