Job description

Robert Half Legal is partnering with a global organization in the entertainment, sports, and media space to identify a Legal Coordinator to support the Office of the Chief Legal Officer. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a paralegal or legal assistant background who is seeking exposure to corporate legal work in a fast-paced, high-profile environment.


Position Summary

The Legal Coordinator will provide administrative and legal support to senior legal leadership and assist with a wide range of corporate legal and operational matters. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling sensitive information while working across multiple teams and priorities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, format, revise, redline, and edit confidential agreements and correspondence
  • Support and help manage the companyโ€™s KYC process
  • Communicate with executives and internal stakeholders regarding sensitive legal documents
  • Assist with the creation and implementation of legal procedures and internal processes
  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to corporate matters
  • Maintain and update company organizational charts
  • Track and monitor minority investments
  • Update and maintain internal legal databases
  • Draft NDAs and promissory notes
  • Assist with domestic and international entity formations
  • Support special projects and other legal initiatives as needed
  • Maintain spreadsheets, charts, summaries, and tracking documents
  • Manage a high volume of electronic files and ensure accurate organization and accessibility
  • Utilize electronic signature and calendaring tools to manage document execution, distribution, and renewals
  • Support the workflow of the Office of the Chief Legal Officer and collaborate effectively across the broader organization


Required Skills and Systems

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat Professional
  • Experience with iManage or a similar document management system

Qualifications

  • Paralegal Certificate or Legal Assistant Certificate required
  • Prior experience in a legal coordinator, legal assistant, or paralegal role required
  • Experience with cap table management and corporate legal matters strongly preferred
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize short- and long-term projects
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Location

This role is based in Los Angeles, California, with an onsite schedule of Monday through Thursday.


Compensation

The hourly pay range for this position is $40.00 to $50.00, with eligibility for benefits and a discretionary bonus. Compensation may vary based on experience and other job-related factors.
