Job Description
This role is responsible for the administration and support of X-energy enterprise software applications that support business operations and associated service transactions. This position requires maintaining proper configuration and access controls as well as supporting business solutions in the assigned areas. In addition, this position is responsible for monitoring new trends in technology that will impact the platform and lead strategic technology projects to further the continual improvement of provided services.
Job Profile Tasks/Responsibilities:
  • Administer and maintain applicable platform, which includes troubleshooting and resolving reported issues, installing new software releases and system upgrades, evaluating, and installing patches, and conducting application/configuration migrations, refreshes, and restores.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure team to determine requirements for deploying database, web, and application servers in a multi-instance environment.
  • Specify and verify the system architecture and integration with other application systems.
  • Work with IT colleagues and/or the vendor to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues and collaborates with the development team to implement solutions.
  • Monitor the system for high availability, load balancing, and satisfactory response time to ensure performance and reliability adhere to service level standards.
  • Collaborate with other IT professionals to resolve performance issues.
  • Administer security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
  • Develop instructions/documentation for user community and to support new process development.
  • Partner with the Senior Managers on projects that involve architecture and business transactions.
  • Research and keep abreast of trends in technology that impact enterprise content management.
  • Provide input on the improvement and future direction of the service.
  • Work with the vendor support to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.
  • Collaborate with vendor support and development teams to implement maintenance patches and upgrades.
  • Participate in contract and licensing discussions to provide platform related information and suggestions to optimize the solution from a contract/license perspective.
  • Maintain professional demeanor and behavior at all times in all forms of communication.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

Job Profile Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Typically, ten years of experience in a relevant role required.
  • Experience with API and other integration methods.
  • Experience in the administration of software applications or similar systems is required.
  • Experience installing, upgrading, enhancing, and supporting multiple large-scale administrative software applications.
  • Experience in web and mobile applications support is required.

Preferred Skills:
  • Technical experience with large Enterprise Content Management platforms such as Doxis (preferred), Documentum, OpenText, FileNet, etc.
  • Regulated industry experience such as nuclear (preferred), pharma, or airline.
  • Technical experience managing and deploying applications in AWS utilizing EKS.

Location: 9801 Washingtonian Blvd, Gaithersburg, MD
Work Schedule: 3-4 days per week onsite
Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm, Mon-Fri

Salary ranges may vary based on the specific office location and region referenced in the posting to take into consideration differences in cost of living and may not be reflective of all regions. Please note that compensation ranges listed for US job postings reflect base salary only and do not include benefits or other incentives.
Offers within the posted salary range are commensurate with the individual's qualifications for the position, along with a view on internal equity, market data, and room for growth. The salary range for this position is:
