Job Description

The Media Operations, Operations & Technology group is responsible for prepping content needed for domestic and international distribution as well as broadcast operations. This includes transcode, edit and delivery services to meet client fulfilment around the globe 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Aside from supporting the day-to-day content supply, this position becomes integral to the success of high-profile LRP and strategic goals. We also support marketing supply chains as well as network stunts and events, which have included the Olympics, FIFA World Cup, and the Superbowl in the past.

The Content Solutions Specialist is responsible for strategy, administration, workflow design & solutions, integrations, and day-to-day operational builds. This role sits at the intersection of business stakeholders, clients, product, engineering, and operations; translating requirements into scalable content supply chain workflows and DAM/MAM solutions that support fast turnaround projects and LRP goals. This role designs and implements automations that support the full media asset lifecycle—from ingest through metadata enrichment & translations, QC, versioning, transcoding, delivery, and archival. 

The ideal candidate is deeply technical, operationally minded, and comfortable both gathering requirements from non-technical partners, and working closely with product and engineering to bring short term and long term workflow designs into the larger supply chain.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Design, build, and support end-to-end DAM/MAM supply chain workflows covering: 
    • Asset ingest (file- and API-based) 
    • Metadata validation, normalization, transformation and enrichment 
    • Automated QC and review workflows 
    • Transcoding and proxy generation 
    • Versioning, derivatives, packaging, and delivery 
  • Design and support API-based integrations between internal and third-party tooling and clients, for both upstream/downstream systems (e.g., MAMs, encoders, delivery platforms, analytics, metadata stores). 
  • Partner with Engineering on REST APIs, MCP integrations, webhooks, JSON/XML schemas/contracts, event-driven patterns, and authentication models. 
  • Build and maintain integration workflows using low-code (Java, YAML, Python, etc.) and automation platforms (e.g., Qibb, Power Automate/Logic Apps, ETLworks, AirTable) to orchestrate cross-system handoffs, automate operational processes and reduce manual touchpoints.
  • Build and support ETL metadata architecture, schemas and workflows supporting content ingestion, transformation, validation, enrichment, and fulfillment.
  • Support and integrate supplementary CSC/Marketing Supply chain systems including AI Video & Image Technologies, Orange Logic DAM, Telestream Vantage Encoding, AWS EMC, Fabric Metadata, and other marketing, metadata, analytics, and discovery tools that intersect with the media content lifecycle.
  • Design and build agentic AI/ML‑enabled workflows using Microsoft Copilot Studio (or equivalent), creating agents that streamline operational pain points, enable self‑service, orchestrate multi‑step workflows, and improve team productivity.
  • Create productivity and support solutions using our tools to enhance BAU & Projects.
  • Advise and maintain vendor engagement, including feature requests, issue escalation, release validation, and platform upgrade risk/benefits. 
Qualifications

Qualifications

Requirements: 

  • 2+ years of experience in full‑stack development using low‑code platforms to build scalable workflow solutions, leveraging Java, Python, or YAML for customization and integration.
  • 3+ years of experience in an operational, product, support or customer facing position for a media or technology company.
  • 3+ years experience in a role demonstrating strong technical, quantitative, or analytical skills
  • 3+ years experience in a role exhibiting excellent written and oral communications, effective interpersonal skills, project management, and presentation abilities

Desired Characteristics:

  • An individual with a strong desire to learn, take on new technologies and challenges.
  • Working knowledge of low-code, tools and best practices (python, java, yaml, github, vscode, etc).
  • Working knowledge/experience in ML/AI tools, functionality, enablement.
  • Ability to write clean documentation, SOPs, enable cross‑team training, and ongoing functional support for platforms and workflows.
  • Knowledge of operational ticketing/metrics/tracking systems; Salesforce, Jira, AirTable, SmartSheets, ServiceNow
  • Experience with film/tv/media workflow and content supply chain.
  • Knowledge of digital media video, audio, components and metadata.
  • Experience with DAM/MAM solutions (Orange Logic, Evertz Mediator, Frame.io, etc).
  • Experience with file encoders such as Vantage, AWS Elemental MediaConvert, Adobe Media Encoder, etc.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem solving, and escalation skills.
  • Experience working with or supporting post-production software and environments such Avid Media Composer, Adobe Suite, Final Cut Pro. Etc.
  • Experience with digital delivery methods, such as AWS, Aspera, Signiant, etc.
  • Experience with QC Software such as Baton, Quasar, GrayMeta Iris, Switch etc.
  • Experience with Closed Caption creation, editing and converting (CapMate, TimedText Flip, CaptionCreator, etc)
  • Experience supporting customer workflows through operations team and/or help desk.
  • Able to take on additional projects that require alignment across different internal teams for successful implementation and roll-out.
  • Strong ability to multi-task and make effective decisions in a high-pressure deadline driven environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interface with multiple departments, clients, and vendors.

Additional Requirements: 

  • Must be willing and able to work any shift including, overnights, swing, and/or weekend.
  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation.
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the US.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week.
