Job description

Legal Content Writer & Strategist

Location: Boston, MA (or Remote/Hybrid) Reports to: Director of Marketing

The Firm

Jeffrey Glassman Injury Lawyers is a premier Boston-based firm dedicated to fighting for the rights of the injured. We handle everything from complex medical malpractice to high-stakes motor vehicle accidents. We believe that information is power, and we are looking for a storyteller who can translate complex legal concepts into supportive, actionable, and SEO-optimized content for our community.

The Role

We are seeking a Legal Content Writer who is equal parts empathetic storyteller and SEO strategist. You wonโ€™t just be writing "articles"; you will be building a library of resources that help potential clients navigate the most difficult moments of their lives. Youโ€™ll be responsible for the voice of the firm across our website, blog, social media, and email newsletters.

Key Responsibilities
  • High-Volume Content Creation: Draft compelling, high-quality website pages, blog posts, and FAQs focused on personal injury topics (MVA, slip and fall, workers' comp, etc.).

  • SEO Optimization: Write with "Search Intent" in mind. Youโ€™ll work closely with our SEO team to integrate keywords naturally, optimize headers, and improve on-page readability to boost rankings.

  • Brand Voice Management: Maintain a tone that is professional and authoritative, yet compassionate and accessible. Our clients are often in painโ€”your writing should provide clarity and comfort.

  • Legal Research: Simplify complex Massachusetts statutes and case law into "plain English" that the average person can understand without losing legal accuracy.

  • Multi-Channel Adaptation: Turn a single long-form blog post into a series of engaging social media captions, email blasts, and video scripts for our attorneys.

  • Content Auditing: Regularly review and update existing evergreen content to ensure it remains accurate, relevant, and competitive in search rankings.

Required Qualifications
  • 2+ Years of Professional Writing Experience: Ideally in a legal, insurance, or medical setting.

  • SEO Fundamentals: You understand how to use tools like SEMRush, Ahrefs, or SurferSEO to guide your writing.

  • Portfolio of Work: A proven ability to write long-form content that is both engaging and informative.

  • Meticulous Editing: An eagle eye for grammar, punctuation, and style. In the legal world, details matter.

  • Research Skills: Ability to quickly get up to speed on new legal topics and extract the most important information for the reader.

Preferred Skills
  • Experience writing specifically for Personal Injury law.

  • Basic understanding of HTML/WordPress for uploading and formatting posts.

  • Experience with "StoryBrand" or similar frameworks that position the client as the hero.

Why Join Jeffrey Glassman Injury Lawyers?
  • Purpose-Driven Work: Your writing will directly help people find the legal representation they need during a crisis.

  • Creative Autonomy: We value fresh perspectives. Youโ€™ll have a seat at the table in deciding what topics we cover and how we tell our story.

  • Stability & Growth: Join a well-established firm with a deep footprint in the Boston community and a commitment to staying ahead of digital trends.

  • Collaborative Environment: Work alongside top-tier attorneys and a savvy marketing team.

How to Apply

Please submit your resume and three writing samples (links or PDFs). We are specifically looking for samples that demonstrate your ability to explain a complex topic in a way that is easy to understand.
