The Director, Enterprise Change and Build Management is responsible for leading enterprise-wide change governance, build management, operational readiness, and deployment coordination across complex technology ecosystems. This role drives the strategic alignment of enterprise delivery practices with operational stability, risk management, compliance requirements, and modernization initiatives.
This leader will oversee the governance, execution, and continuous improvement of enterprise change processes while enabling scalable, efficient, and secure delivery across infrastructure, cloud, application, and platform domains. The role requires strong executive leadership, operational discipline, and deep expertise in enterprise technology operations and transformation delivery.
The Director partners closely with Engineering, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Product, PMO, Risk, Compliance, and executive leadership teams to ensure enterprise changes are implemented safely, efficiently, and with minimal business disruption.
What you will do:
  • Lead enterprise change governance strategy, policy development, and operational oversight.
  • Establish and mature enterprise-wide change management frameworks, standards, and controls.
  • Oversee Change Advisory Board (CAB) operations and executive change governance forums.
  • Ensure all production and operational changes meet risk, security, audit, and compliance requirements.
  • Drive governance modernization aligned to Agile, DevOps, and cloud delivery models.
  • Lead enterprise build management across multiple technology platforms and business domains.
  • Oversee deployment orchestration, environment management, and rollback readiness.
  • Improve deployment velocity while maintaining platform stability and operational resiliency.
  • Coordinate enterprise-scale deployments with cross-functional technology and business teams.
  • Drive operational maturity initiatives focused on scalability, automation, resiliency, and delivery optimization.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce failed changes, operational incidents, and deployment risk.
  • Develop enterprise metrics and dashboards related to release quality, change success rates, deployment frequency, and operational health.
  • Support cloud transformation, platform modernization, and enterprise delivery optimization initiatives.
  • Build and lead high-performing teams across enterprise change and build management functions.
  • Influence senior leaders and stakeholders across highly matrixed enterprise environments.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, operational discipline, and continuous improvement.

What you will bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise technology operations, change management, release management, or build management.
  • 7+ years of leadership experience managing enterprise-scale operational or transformation teams.
  • Deep expertise in:
    • Enterprise change governance
    • Build and release management
    • DevOps and CI/CD operating models
    • ITIL service management practices
    • Operational risk and compliance frameworks
    • Cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments
  • Experience leading complex enterprise transformation and modernization initiatives.
  • Strong executive communication, organizational leadership, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale cross-functional initiatives in highly matrixed organizations.

Base Salary Range
$125,400.00 - $181,875.00
The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
