Description
Title: Landscape Maintenance Crew Member
Engledow Group is currently hiring Landscape Maintenance Crew Members for our Columbus location.
This position is responsible for the maintenance of Engledow clients' properties. This includes working with a team to complete the necessary tasks of watering, weeding, edging, trimming, mulching, planting, pruning, snow and trash removal, and other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
This is a full-time opportunity offering competitive pay, full benefits after 60 days, PTO and no winter lay-offs!
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Meet and exceed Engledow Group standardized levels of quality and safety at each customer location
• Assist team and Supervisor in the coordination and implementation of contracts
• Oversee equipment use to maximize life and minimize repairs
• Maintain properties including watering, mulching, weeding, planting, pruning, trimming
• Snow removal services in winter season, along with trash removal on specific sites
• Communicate equipment needs and issues to Supervisor using appropriate paperwork
• Understand the needs of each client site
• Be creative in accomplishing the work quickly and with the highest level of quality
• Attend various meetings as requested
• Participate in tailgate safety sessions
• Assist in snow removal and help other divisions when required.
• Communicate issues or safety hazards to Supervisor
Qualifications
• Strong teamwork skills
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background screen
• Ability to work in inclement weather, including extreme heat and cold
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. regularly, along with walking, bending, and kneeling for long periods.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license with good driving record
Requirements
  • Be creative in accomplishing the work quickly and accurately
  • Communicate with Supervisor regarding issues at properties
  • Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs, walk, stand, bend, kneel for long periods
  • Maintain Engledow driving and safety standards
  • A valid Indiana driver's license with six points or less is required.
  • You must be willing and able to pass a drug screen, and background screen
