Responsibilities- Staff the EBC Atrium reception desk. Receives, greets and directs visitors to the appropriate person or department.
- Follows secure building procedures for admitting guests and visitors.
- General office support such as answering and directing phone calls, greeting and directing visitors, maintaining conference room schedules and arranging meetings.
- Arrange and monitor parking moratoriums, reserved stalls, and other parking requests working across campus departments.
- Provides a variety of administrative support as needed; organizes data for entry into a database.
- Assist Utah Public Media's donor services and development teams with inquiries from donors, listeners and viewers, as well as assistance with outbound communications and stewardship.
- May be asked to assist with meetings and events on site.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience). Four years full time secretarial experience or equivalency, word processing and spreadsheet software skills and demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills also required.
Knowledge of business writing preferred.

Department Specific Qualifications:- Experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel.
- Experience with Google Suite.
- High level of professional courtesy and communication skills.
- Ability to use time and resources effectively and efficiently.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferences - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Spanish or other second language preferred.
