This position is based in Mount Laurel, home to one of Lockheed Martin's major engineering and technology hubs supporting advanced defense and radar systems programs. The Mount Laurel site brings together engineering, program management, logistics, and operations professionals who collaborate on cutting-edge solutions that directly support U.S. military and allied defense initiatives. The Engineering Planner plays a key role in ensuring Technical Data Packages (TDPs) are delivered accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with program requirements.
The Work
The Engineering Planner will support the planning, development, and delivery of Technical Data Packages (TDPs) for Lockheed Martin programs. This role serves as the primary liaison between engineering and program management to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant technical documentation.
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinating meetings between engineering, program management, and stakeholders
Maintaining action-item logs and tracking program metrics
Preparing and managing route sheets and documentation packages
Supporting schedule development and maintaining planning tools
Monitoring project timelines and ensuring deliverables meet established deadlines
Preparing and maintaining status reports for leadership and customers
Assisting with process improvements related to technical documentation and workflow coordination
Supporting cross-functional teams at the Mount Laurel facility in a fast-paced engineering environment

2+ years of engineering planning or technical document coordination experience
Experience preparing and maintaining status reports
Desired Skills

Experience with virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams, including recording minutes and action items
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with customers, engineering teams, and senior leadership
