In this leadership role, you'll supervise daily operations, manage preventive maintenance programs, and ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks. From inspecting work for quality and coordinating training programs to supporting staffing and ADA compliance, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy mentoring teams, and take pride in maintaining high standards, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact.Who You Are:Hands-On Leader: You have proven experience leading and motivating teams to achieve operational goalsDetail-Oriented Professional: You ensure accuracy and quality in inspections, maintenance, and daily operationsProblem Solver: You approach challenges with confidence and implement effective solutions quicklyAdaptable and Decisive: You excel at multitasking and making sound decisions under pressureClear Communicator: You maintain professional communication with team members and other departments to ensure seamless operationsVeterans and military spouses are encouraged to applyWhat You'll Do:Supervise daily maintenance operations and assign work to engineering staffReview and inspect completed work orders to ensure accuracy and qualityAddress and resolve maintenance-related guest concerns in collaboration with department headsOversee and ensure completion of all preventive maintenance tasks to hotel standardsAssist engineers with diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment malfunctionsCoordinate training programs to enhance team skills and performanceMaintain cleanliness and safety standards in maintenance shops and work areasManage inventory for guestroom parts, tools, and maintenance suppliesConduct periodic inspections of guestrooms to ensure compliance with quality standardsSupport ADA compliance efforts in guest rooms and public spacesAdminister key control, tool control, and credit card control proceduresCollaborate with Security on repairs and maintenance of electronic locking systemsAttend hotel meetings and stay informed about property-wide events and operational updatesFoster teamwork by promoting a collaborative, service-oriented work environmentEnsure adherence to OSHA regulations, safety procedures, and hotel policiesRegular attendance in conformance with standardsMay be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needsRequired to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetingsPerform other duties as assignedYour Qualifications Include:3 to 5 years of experience in an engineering supervisory role within a hospitality environment. Post-secondary education in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related technical disciplineHigh school diploma or equivalentProven experience in overseeing maintenance operations, preventive maintenance, and system inspections.
