Job Summary:
Adaptive is a rapidly growing vertical AI company building an AI-native ERP for real estate and construction. As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of engineers, drive product delivery, and contribute to architectural decisions while maintaining high-quality, scalable systems.
Responsibilities:
• Lead, manage, and develop a team of 5-7 engineers, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management
• Own end-to-end delivery of product initiatives, working closely with the team to ship quickly and iterate based on feedback
• Act as a force multiplier by unblocking the team, simplifying problems, and maintaining strong execution momentum
• Stay hands-on in the codebase, contributing across the stack where it matters most and setting a high technical bar
• Drive pragmatic architectural decisions that balance speed and long-term scalability
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5-8+ years of software engineering experience with 1-3+ years of formal people management experience leading engineers
• Strong technical depth with a willingness to be hands-on when needed
