Job Description:
The Sage program is a multi-contractor team providing Operations and Support to our proprietary customer providing ground systems processing operations.
Position requires candidate to work rotating shifts to include 12 hours days and 12 hour mids, and 2 weekends a month.
Position requires individual provide system monitoring for ingest, processing, and dissemination of data to end users.
Must be able identify and document fault detections and execute system recovery efforts to restore processing systems to full mission capability.
Candidate should be familiar with SUN, Solaris, UNIX and be able execute documented procedures.
Required Skills:
Must have the ability to perform related data processing / computer operations tasks
Must have excellent user support skills, preferably in support of military or government agency users
Must have the ability to perform, especially in staff or professional manner, ongoing operational tasks of organization units
Must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Must have some experience or knowledge of basic operations principles, theories, and concepts as well as industry practices and standards Must have the ability to complete task-related activities
Must possess strong analytical skills, flexibility, and be able to work in a team environment Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
Must have a current, active TS/SCI security clearance with CI Poly (or have held an active TS/SCI within the past 2 years.)
Qualified applicants may be subject to a security investigation and must meet minimum qualifications for access to classified information.

Familiarity with UNIX or LINUX operating system
