Job description

Engineering Administrator

We are seeking a dependable and highly organized Engineering Administrator to support construction projects across the Northeast region. This individual will work closely with Construction Managers, Project Managers, and field teams to ensure smooth day-to-day administrative operations.


Day-to-Day

  • Collect and maintain daily inspection reports, progress reports, MTRs, and certificates of conformance
  • Organize and manage project files in accordance with established file structure standards
  • Identify and resolve documentation gaps to maintain accurate and complete project records
  • Support Construction Managers and Project Managers with scheduling, correspondence, and document control
  • Attend project meetings, capture detailed meeting minutes, and distribute them promptly
  • Track open action items and follow up with responsible parties to ensure completion


Qualifications

  • Prior experience in construction, engineering, or project-based administrative roles preferred
  • Familiarity with standard office software and document management systems
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable interacting regularly with field-based teams
  • Ability to sit for extended periods in an office environment
