Job description

The Engineering Administrator provides administrative and operational support to the engineering team to ensure projects, documentation, and daily workflows run efficiently. This role acts as a central point of coordination between engineers, vendors, and internal departments, helping maintain accurate records, schedules, and communication.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the engineering department
  • Maintain and organize engineering documentation, drawings, and records
  • Track project timelines, updates, and deliverables
  • Coordinate meetings, schedules, and communications for engineering staff
  • Assist with purchase requests, vendor coordination, and material tracking
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations as needed
  • Support compliance documentation and internal process requirements
  • Maintain databases and filing systems for engineering projects
  • Communicate with cross-functional teams to support project execution
Qualifications
  • High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2+ years of administrative or project coordination experience (engineering environment preferred)
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
