Track, manage, and resolve technical issues. This position will serve as the Technical SME role for technical resources across the NUWC program.Lead the day-to-day execution activities of the Engineering team in conjunction with the Program ManagerIdentify technical continuous improvement and project execution efficienciesDevelop and implement improvements to existing processes and practicesConduct investigation to understand root cause of issues and problems**Youโ€™ll Bring These Qualifications*** Bachelorโ€™s degree in engineering field or 10 years DoD Engineering Experience.* Minimum 10 years of experience in a position requiring engineering management expertise* Active Secret clearance / ability to obtain TS/SCI* Experience supporting NUWC Division Newport* Track record of complex problem-solving aptitude* Strong customer and user relations skills as well as experience at technical interchange meetings and representing the organization in technical matters* Excellent written communication skills, with strong experience developing white papers and technical proposals**These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have*** Experience in an engineering management position working with NUWC and/or other IAC MAC customers* Experience with NUWC Division Newport code 034* Experience working large, system of systems design and development* Specific knowledge of the Navyโ€™s full-spectrum Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) addressable market, competitors, technologies, and mission-specific threats* Ability and passion to bring vision and innovation to the engineering function.
